1. What is your maximum occupancy, and what are the sleeping arrangements like?

Our max occupancy, as of now, is 20 people but we are only allowed up to 13 people to have sleeping arrangements here. 

2. Are meals provided? If so, can you accommodate special dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, etc.)?

Yes and No. Depending on which package you choose. If you choose the caterer, they offer special dietary needs options. However, you may choose to bring in your own food specialist as you see fit. 

3. What's your pricing structure?

Is it per person, per night, or a flat rate for the entire facility? For the retreats that we host, it is a flat rate per person. If you are renting our facility, it is a flat rate for the entire facility, depending on which package you choose from. 

4. Do you have a minimum stay requirement or group size?

Yes, no more than 13 people may stay overnight. And no, there is no minimum stay requirement. 

5. What amenities are included in the rate (Wi-Fi, linens, toiletries, use of kayaks/equipment)?

6. Are there any additional fees we should be aware of (cleaning, security deposit, etc.)?

These are included in the packaged rates.

7. What's your cancellation policy?

You must contact us at least 30 days in advance to cancel a reservation.

9. Is the entire facility private to our group, or might we be sharing spaces with others?


10. What's the nearest town, and how far is it to essential services (hospitals, grocery stores)?

While Vernon itself is small, it's a short drive to larger towns like Show Low (about 30 minutes) and Pinetop-Lakeside, which offer more services.

11. What's the best way to get to your center? Is there parking available?

There is plenty of parking available and the best way to get to our center will be delivered to your inbox or given to the hosts to give to their guests. 

12. Do you have cell phone reception or internet access? (Some groups want to know for a digital detox, others for work purposes.

Yes, we offer both. 

13. Are your facilities accessible for those with mobility challenges? 


14. Do you provide any equipment for presentations (projectors, whiteboards, etc.)?

We currently do not. However, we do offer a workstation equipped with a charging USB board. 

15. Can we rearrange furniture to suit our program needs?

Yes

16. Are there any quiet hours or noise restrictions?

Yes, quiet hours are from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.

17. What's the climate like during different seasons? How does this affect activities?

While most places have 4 seasons, we like to joke about how we have 5. The 5th is monsoon season. This season is from the end of June to mid-September. In-door activities might have to be planned during this time. 

18. Do you have air conditioning or heating?

Yes, we have central air and heating. As well as wood-burning fireplaces in 3 different locations in the center. Wood is provided.

19. Are there any local activities or attractions you recommend for free time?

20. Can you connect us with local service providers (massage therapists, guides, etc.)?

21. What's your policy on alcohol? Smoking?

We ask that you do not smoke on the grounds. Alcohol is not permitted on the grounds as well. 

22. Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed unless they are certified service animals. 

23. Do you have first-aid kits or an AED on site? How far is the nearest emergency service?

Yes, there is a first aid kit. However, we currently do not have an AED on site. The nearest emergency service is in Show Low. 

24. For outdoor activities, are there any wildlife concerns we should be aware of? 

While you will see a variety of small game, like raccoons, elk, deer, rabbits, and squirrels, some of the more alerting types will be snakes and if you're lucky enough a bear. However, it’s a rare occurrence. Please take cautionary steps to avoid these interactions. 

25. Can we see photos or testimonials from previous groups?

26. Is there a manager on-site during our stay in case issues arise?

Only if you choose the Pine package or Elk Package. However, should a problem arise, you will have the direct line to the property manager.
